"The Reno Brothers Gang were a group of criminals that numbered more than 100 and operated in the Midwest during and after the Civil War. They carried out the first peacetime train robbery in US History years before Jesse James. Ten members of the gang, including three brothers, were illegally lynched while in the protective custody of the US Government and the Pinkertons.
